  1. No surprise with Bradford going #1.

I really wish the Hawks had a better pass rush right now. It'd be fun to watch the team beat up on Bradford and really ruin his confidence.

  2. every draft im reminded what douche bags new yorkers are... as a group. Keith is cool. and maybe some others

  3. Steve Young said, "Sam Bradford should call Matthew Stafford tomorrow!"

Why? So he can get advise on how to win 2 games? And did you hear Young doing that New Yorker impression at the start of the broadcast, and nobody laughed? What a nerd.

  4. hearing a lot of Suh to Detroit rumors

  5. HCM war room update...

    Pete's drinking a Gatordade.

    Me? A beer.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Gerald McCoy's the first guy to cry

    ReplyDelete
  7. I'm relying on HCM and ESPN for my draft coverage because I am stuck at work - thank you for your diligence.

Finn - remember you have a big night on the docket tomorrow so maybe alternate beers with one of Pete's Gatorades :)

  8. Really hoping that the Skins go with Trent Williams.

  9. told you girls read this site

  10. Nice!!

Berry or Okung has to be the Hawks pick at 6.

Although now that I know Williams' nickname is Silverback I kind of want him on the Hawks.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Long time reader, first time poster.

    ReplyDelete
  12. If Okung is the next pick do you really think we'll go Berry?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Since Peter has clearly dropped the ball... or dropping something... I say YES. So very happy right now. Either pick is great. Don't fuck this up Carroll.

    ReplyDelete
  14. these green room things are bullshit. so Eric Berry going to the Chiefs

    ReplyDelete
  15. ESPN's been really sloppy coming out of commercials so far. This sort of thing would never happen on The Dan Patrick Show.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah, shouldn't we be getting spoiler alerts?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Key departures? Babineaux? When did he leave?
By the way anyone see our Key Arrivals? A 3rd string qb, a backup TE and two WRs who were out of football last year.

    ReplyDelete
  18. It also just said that Kerney was one of our notable defenders ... uh oh.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Great pick! I didn't think we'd actually have a chance at getting him.

Okung should be starting day one.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Fingers crossed that Spiller drops a few spots here to 14.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Let's see how the Raiders screw things up here with there pick.

For anyone scoring at home i've hit on 5 of the first 7.

LaCanfora is saying Raiders are debating between Iupati and Spiller (boooooo).

    ReplyDelete
  22. boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

have fun in Buffalo douche bag

    ReplyDelete
  23. Strange pick for Oakland. McClain should be a solid player, but it's a bit of a reach here and not for the reasons they usually reach. Overall, it's better than going for some workout warrior.

    Darn!
    Spiller to the Bills.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The fact that Gruden likes Spiller so much makes me question his value.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Is this SF trade to get Earl Thomas?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well they got ahead of Miami, and wasn't that the team rumored to maybe deal their pick to the Eagles so that the Eagles could get Thomas?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Nevermind, now the trade doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I guess they really wanted him.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Interesting. Chargers jumping up to #12. Dan Williams?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Rrrraaaaaallllpphhhhh!!!!

First puke of the day! Wooohoo!

Pete's gatorade didn't sit so well!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Gotta be for Earl Thomas here to the Eagles. Which sucks because I'd like the Hawks to have a chance at him.

    ReplyDelete
  31. So, Derrick Morgan for the Hawks right?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Schefter is saying Brandon Graham to Philly

    ReplyDelete
  33. So what do you think DGP? Morgan or Thomas? Or someone else?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Holy shit, our "Key Arrivals" section on the bottom line is depressing.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Welcome to the party pal. Mr. F said something about that a while ago.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm just kind of free-associating right now, like Robin Williams doing stand-up.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Could be a great pick for the Giants. But who knows. I mean the guy can do backflips, so he should be a good pro.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Dibs on custom "MYNAMEISEARL" Hawks jersey

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ordering Chinese food in honor of Okung... wait... what?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Anybody checked Draft Guru Pete's stats after the 7th pick? Sheeesh

    ReplyDelete
  41. If Clausen goes to the Niners it will be one of those high risk/high reward picks for Hawks fans. Kicking the shit out of him would be really fun to watch, but if he ends up doing well, he'll be really annoying to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Niners team building strategy is kinda like getting a state-of-the-art security system for a piece-of-shit house. They're going to focus on keeping Alex Smith upright, but then what happens when he actually has to make plays?

    ReplyDelete
  43. If Pouncey doesn't want to snap the ball Roethlisberger will just take it.

    ReplyDelete
  44. In shotgun formations next season his bodyguards will take the ball from Pouncey and drag it back to Ben

    ReplyDelete
  45. Late breaking rumor: Pete Carroll calling for tradebacks with the Patriots. We get their 1st rounder for Branch.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Sounds like Denver is trading to #22

    ReplyDelete
  47. Have you guys noticed that Young only compares players to people he played with?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Tough to decide which coverage to watch. Other than Gruden, I hate the entire ESPN panel... but over on the NFL network they have Michael Irvin, and there aren't many people I despise more than that cock.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Young's concussions have ruined his memory. All he has to remind him of football are old team photos, so cut him some slack.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Geez. How in the world is Bulaga gonna fit in in Green Bay?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Thinking Kindle or Jerry Hughes to New England.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Baltimore must of just stole a steel chair from Dallas, cuz they just gave them an AGGRESSIVE crotch chop/suck it with that one.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Great stuff there with Berman getting upset with the guys talking during the armed forces.

    BRONCOS TAKE TEBOW!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm pretty surprised that he went ahead of Clausen.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Tom Jackson's mike is broken. He and Berman are really annoyed. What a couple of douches.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Next prediction:
Berman will say "And Jimmy Clausen is probably listening to Tom Petty right now. Waaaaiiting is the hardest part."

    ReplyDelete
  57. Peter's cheating all of you!!! DON'T BELIEVE HIS LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Wow, I really did a poor job of picking after #7.

Looks like 6 guys I thought would go in Round 1 will be available in Round 2.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Sorry gang, I went to dinner after pick 22 or so. But I agree, Berman did a very shaky job all night. Maybe ESPN is re-thinking that extension they just gave him. I get that the Draft is a tough gig to handle, with a lot of moving parts, but man, he looked really clueless at times. Also, I don't get the option of watching NFL Network down here. Thanks Time Warner!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Good read on the draft board. I had a joke planned out to comment "whatever your paying Draft Guru Pete is wayyyy too much", but after reading this solid analysis, I think what your paying him ($0) is just about right.

Lotta hate for everything 49ers. First of all, Young is the man. He many not be a comedian, but hes one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Secondly, Pete, our state of the art security system comes with automatic doors so FRANK FUCKING GORE can come bursting out to run down meager teams throats. If you watched football last year you would know that Smith made plays when he was given the chance... the kid can throw... but his lack of athleticism made him susceptible to pressure. Not to mention, we have FRANK FUCKING GORE so shut it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Steve Young probably is a nice guy, but that doesn't stop him from being a nerd. Plus he turned down the long-lost boyfriend role in There's Something About Mary; so I guess you're right Bateman, he's clearly not a comedian.

(Bobby, There's Something About Mary was a comedy movie that came out in the late 90s)

    ReplyDelete
  62. It just makes sense to take shots at the Niners. The Rams are too easy.
