Your 2012 MLB Season Opener Open Thread


I dont know how Ichiro got his uniform, bat, and glove in that tiny suitcase, but my sources in Japan tell me that he will have everything he needs to play today.  In the more great news department: Your party hosts will be here all night and into the wee hours of the morning, and then some, to bring you all the action of this morning's game against the stupid A's.  Please feel free to join in on the fun!!!!!

    I guess there is no point in watching King Felix has never lost an opening day start. 3-0 with a 1.70 ERA in 4 starts

    Just woke up. Wilhelmsen gave a scare with that long drive he gave up, but Carpy is always solid on D. We're headed to extras!

    Since waking up I've seen some good pitching and D from the M's followed by a 1-2-3 inning at the plate. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it is broke? Best leave it unfixed too.

    If the playoffs started today, the M's would be the 1 seed. Not sure how they'd work out the tiebreakers for the other teams, but the A's are definitely out.
