  1. Pete Carroll's first draft day clue was to watch the family dinner scene of Talladega Nights.

    Some thoughts after watching it:

Coach thinks the draft is about praying to sweet baby jesus and hoping your guy is available when you pick

Texas Ranger says "i'm all hopped up on Mountain Dew" (clearly this is what Coach was talking about)

He also mentions pissing his pants, which famously happened to Quinton "Piss Pants" Coples during his Junior season.

  2. How far will Ryan Tannehill fall on draft day? I wonder if the Browns like Weeden more and will pass on Tannehill even if he's there at 22.

  5. Could Michael Floyd be the pick for the Hawks at 12? Thoughts?

  6. Looks like Coach's draft clues are just his favorite "lines" from movies. So clearly the Hawks will be picking someone on the offensive or defensive line.

  7. Lions looking to move up to get a chance at Stephon Gilmore or David DeCastro

  8. The NFL has announced that if Ryan Tannehill is not selected in the first round he will be required to sleep at his table in the green room and spend the night alone in Radio City Music Hall.

  9. Still a lot of talk about the Vikings going Claiborne at #3

  10. Browns must have been scared that the Bucs were going to leap frog them to get at Richardson. Moving up one spot for a third round pick is pretty expensive for a still developing team.

  11. Turns out it wasn't a 3td round pick, but 4, 5 and 7 round picks. Wow

  12. Holmgren proving once again that he hates the browns

  13. Chandler Jones will be watching the draft with his family in Ithaca, NY. That cant be a coincidence. They're doing this as a tip off to me (went to school in Ithaca) that Jones will be picked by the Hawks.

  14. Wouldn't have thought the Browns would have been this loose with their plans. I had a pretty long meeting in my war room earlier today and the Browns were pretty firm.

  15. OK, the draft buzz thread is closing. Time to start the running diary of the Draft. So Sean, if you could comment on the new thread too that would be appreciated.
