Why Isn't there a College Bowl Game tonight?

For those of you worried that you might be forced to play with your kids or talk to your wife tonight, I have some exciting news.  There is some worthwhile football on tonight.  Kicking off at 4:30 down at Tropicana Field is the 2012 Under Armour All-America Game.  Not as much news surrounding how upset many players were about not getting to wear a particular number (Unlike that joke of a U.S Army All-American Bowl).

There is one player that everyone should focus on tonight.  He is an undecided 3-star WR out of Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fl.  A 6' 2" 184 pound burner.  He will be wearing the highly coveted #3 for Team White tonight.  He has narrowed his decision to Michigan State, Iowa State, and Washington State.  Go State Schools!  You can expect him to be unsuccessfully covered up by #3 on Team Black, Deion Sanders Jr.

You are probably asking, why the hell should I care about some shitty 3 star WR who can't be that great if he is considering WSU.  First off, screw you.  I don't know if you heard but we just got a new football coach who is kind of a big deal.  Many people refer to him as "Leachscobar".  Here is why you should care:

 **I went ahead and put a circle around the kid I was talking about so you didn't think we had a Brandon Wheedon situation in the Palouse next year.


 I really hope it is a high scoring game so the kids can practice getting flagged for taunting/excessive celebration.

Gameday will never be in Pullman...

but as we know the Cougs are always at Gameday. Now everyone will know. Herbstreit is the man!

College Football Madness!!!

In case you didn't notice, and judging by our site attendance, you haven't... we've been short on posts around here. The M's are in that nasty middle ground of just good enough to not make the playoffs, the Sonics are gone, and the Seahawks haven't started yet. Not much to write about... well that's all about to change!!!!!!! (probably not, but let's go with it...) ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! IT's TIME FOR A CHANGE!!!! And there will be change because....

It's College Football Season!!!!

Washington State Cougar Fans

or

Husky fans.

This year...I can sense it! A great season for the State of Washington Football!!! (Hey, it's gotta be better than last year right?)

Unfortunately...

I've been following Ted Miller's EXCELLENT blog on the Pac-10 over at ESPN.com, and well... things aren't looking good if you trust what ol' Ted's got to say.

He's doing some positional rankings... and just about every one of 'em has Washington State or Washington battling it out for 10th place. (In all actuality, the Cougs seem to be favored in most... haven't gotten to QB yet though).

So... I'd say my enthusiasm for the season has once again been tempered. That is until... I saw one of the latest rankings. and I remembered...

It also reminded me of this magical day!!!

So, no matter how bleak the prospects for your upcoming season look... whoever the fuck you root for... there is always hope!

Unless you're a dirty fucking husky (not all of you, but the ugly majority) who probably has some delusion that you're on your way to a PAC10 championship. You losers have nothing to look forward to. And I hate you.
