Coming to a TV near you

The PAC-16 Network!

My sources are telling me that the Pac-10 is inviting Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Colorado to join Arizona and Arizona State in the South Division. The rest of our awesome league would be the North. This is going to be awesome!!

this is legit news. I can only hope your typos are due to you attempting to read this blog and comment while the defense is cross-examining their star witness.

I've been keeping a close eye on this one. For those of you that don't want to go through the effort of cutting and pasting Fortune's link, and then actually reading the article, allow me to touch on the dominoes that need to fall in order for this to happen. (Might not be what that article says, I didn't actually read it)

-Missouri and Nebraska accept invitations to join the Big 10. This would most likely prompt the rest of the Big 12 teams to get out while the getting is good.

-It all depends on Texas. If they decide to make the leap, the rest will most likely follow. In fact, one of the main reasons that A&M and Tech are even included in this, most likely, is because Texas wants to hold on to its rivalries, and would only move if it could still play these teams on a regular basis.

-If the above things happen it disintegrates the Big 12 and leaves Kansas, K State, Iowa St., and Baylor without conferences. Which doesn't really matter for football, but what about Kansas basketball? That's a huge entity that some conference would want.

Ok, so maybe this ended up being longer than that other article.
