So Close

Mr F and I are very familiar with the feeling of rushing the field after a monumental victory (see 2004 Apple Cup). Unbridled Jubilation! If there is one thing I would want my children to experience, it would be that. Some parents don't feel the same way:

did that guy smack the kid in the back of the head? There would have been a time in my life where i may have been taken back by that, but i have two kids............so i completely understand. sometimes you gotta smack the lil' fuckers. not because it gets your point across, it just makes you feel better. and no one call CPS, my boys are tough they can take the regular beatings.

I remember that day, being so happy you decided to join me out there. Nobody else would come!!!

I got shitty drunk at Shaker's before the game. A few shots of tequila, 3 double vodka red bulls and shit loads of beer.

I spit on some dudes back on accident, and trie dot clean it off. He wasn't happy.

Crashed at little Wanamaker's that night and he was blasting Billy Joel till 4 am and I thought I was going to have a red bull induced heart attack.

God I miss college. (technically I was out of school for 2 years already but... who's counting)

I love how determined this kid seems to get out there. Then the dad just snatches him and he's like, "Well, fuck. It was a good try."

And what was the dad doing that it took him that long to get out there?

Being a Seattle sports fan?

"(see 2004 Apple Cup)."

That is considered a monumental victory?

"Unbridled Jubilation!"

Redundant. Jubilation by nature is unbridled.

"If there is one thing I would want my children to experience, it would be that."

Its impossible for you kids to go to the 2004 Apple Cup.

Bob... I found this funny... but what I find funnier is the double post (and 4 days) it took you to come up with it.

No wonder your political blog crashed and burned.

Hey Bobo... (sniff)... you stink.

Its funny, judging from the events the last couple of weeks, its clear Mr. F. had a conversation with Fortune telling him to post more. Mr. F. clearly though it would help the blog... and now the blog is in worse shape than before.

Besides... the average story on www.BobandGui.com has FAR more comments than the ones on here.

Lastly, Finn ----->

Ooops... Finn ---->

I realize I must place that insult higher in my posts.

Also, nice job with the English language here:

"Bob... I found this funny... but what I find funnier is the double post it took you to come up with it."

Instant classic Bob. Well done.

From now on I'll go through a few rewrites for every comment posted on this sports blog.

You kill me.

Thanks for link Bob! I'm now up-to-date on politics (as long as nothing has happened since October).

But why would you be part of a blog that congratulated the Dodgers on winning the NL West?
