The NFL Draft is finally here and HCM has the coverage you need for Day 1. Leading up to the first pick we'll be posting any draft buzz that we're hearing from our sources. Feel free to join in with any hot rumors.
The hot rumor so far today is coming from Mr. F who is hearing a lot of chatter of the Detroit camp about trying to make a play for Albert Haynesworth. This would allow them to grab Russell Okung with the 2nd pick and result it a possible slide of Gerald McCoy to the Hawks at 6.

Terrence Cody's agent has tweeted that his massive client will be selected by the New York Jets at the end of the first round.
Have you been following Pete Carroll's tweets, in which he's been posting songs that he claims give hints to who the Hawks will pick?
Looks like it is more of a who arent we going to pick. That would be Eric Berry. I am starting to get the feeling that we are going to trade down with both our picks.
He just tweeted "StrawBERRY fields for SPILLER"
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!?
Now he is tweeting a song by Stevie Wonder!! If we blow number 6 on a blind guy I dont know what I am gonna do.
Yeah, I haven't really had the time to look at the song picks. I bet he's just screwing around cuz now he says to watch the taser scene in Hangover and that should give it away.
Just watched the scene. A few things I saw: when the fat kid is about to shoot Zack G in the face, Rob Riggle says "eye of the tiger (Spiller went to Clemson)" and "don't be afraid to ride the lightning" (could be a reference to Spiller as well). But he also then says "sometimes these big boys need two shots". Could this be a reference at him needing two shots to "recruit" Jimmy Clausen?
Or he could be referencing little known prospect Chuck Taser.
Or he's actually hinting that the cast of the Hangover will raise the 12th Man Flag week 1.
Sean - At least he's not postig Pinball Wizard.
Peter - Excellent Hangover analysis. Seriously great.
Erik - Chuck Tazer... which University? Was he a Urine Bear?
Also, could someone post the Pete Carroll twitter name, so I can follow it. Is it actually confirmed that it's him?
#seahawksdraftclues
@Petecarroll actually, but you led me to it. thanks!
Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network is reporting that many teams are putting Eric Berry to the Redskins in their internal mock drafts. That could free up Okung for the Hawks, but the Cheifs would still be in play to take him.
Also, check out the 2-round mock draft that I just posted. It might receive updates throughout the day if any big moves happen.
Sal Paolantonio reports that the Eagles are in talks with the Dolphins to try and move up to #12 so they can take Earl Thomas.
It sounds like the Steelers won't be trading Ben.
So now Carroll has posted that 3 people have figured it out, but those people aren't aware that they've figured it out. I also heard a report on NFL Network from the person they have stationed in the Hawks' war room that someone thought they figured it out and it meant Taylor Mays (hope not).
I still think he's messing with everybody. Or "figuring it out" means that they found some hidden message like "best player available" or "wait and see".
Now he's says there's one line in the movie Risky Business that should help everyone complete the search for the answer.
I haven't seen this film, but after researching on imdb I found this quote: "College women can smell ignorance... like dog shit."
Could this be the real reason he jumped to the pros? The co-eds at USC saw right through his act?
Some rumors are floating around that the Raiders might be looking to trade Darren McFadden.
Would you trade pick #60 for McFadden if you were the Hawks? I think I would. McFadden's getting a bad rap because he's playing for Oakland and they're terrible. It's not his fault (I think).
A lot of talk about how Tebow is not getting out of the first round tonight.
Ill take him
Lots of talk about me getting wasted tonight.
I don't buy Eric Berry to the 'Skins. I'll bet they're just sending out smoke signals.
SI's Draft Preview was delivered by the mailman today. Just in time!
They might have some reservations about taking a safety at #4.
I am driving the ryan matthews train and anybody is welcome to hop on. I say philly trades us so they can get spiller and we drop down to 24 and take matthews.
I'd be alright with that scenario, but if that doesn't happen and if we're not taking Spiller, I think in round 2 we should grab Montario Hardesty (or maybe Toby Gerhart).
Just heard that Clark Hunt (w/Kansas City Chiefs) has said they have an offer on the table for the #5 pick if the right player is available. I wonder who that might be. Maybe it's with Philly for Berry.
A long time scout said that if Gerhart was black he would be a no doubt 1st rounder. He did have 10 more tds than the heisman trophy winner.
Looks like it is more of a who arent we going to pick. That would be Eric Berry. I am starting to get the feeling that we are going to trade down with both our picks.
