I Love This Man

I'm not sure if this story is making it's way around the local airwaves, so it might be old news to all of you. Anyhow, I was watching PTI today and they had a story about Hasselbeck going to school with a 6th grader earlier this week. One of the girls in the class asked him if he thought girls would ever be able to play in the NFL. Hasselbeck responded with this:

"Sure, girls could play in the NFL, girls can definitely play in the NFL ... Ben Roethlisberger plays in the NFL."

Oh snap!

Damnit!!!

I also saw this, but I was doing cardio @ the gym (giving my pec juice some time to chill). Forgot. You beat me to the bunch. Great job.

He should have been up there anyway, but I'm adding Matthew to our heroes list.

I know I'm too old to have "favorite players" but I think MH is my favorite professional athlete of all time. Much apologies to the Human Highlight Film, Randall Cunningham, Kirby Puckett (R.I.P., he gives him the toughest run), Griffey Jr., The Rain Man, and the Glove... But Hasselbeck is the best.

I get really angry when anyone questions whether this guy is awesome or not... Cuz he is. Hasselbeck is fucking awesome.

I may have already typed this, but I can't tell cuz I can't scroll up on my iPhone, (which also means this took me extra long to write... On this little ( yet awesome) phone... That's how strongly I feel that Matt is the man), but I am now adding Matt Hasselbeck to our sites Hero list. He should have been there all along.

I will

Um, yeah, you had already typed that F.I.N.N. Way to be super irresponsible with your precious IPhone time. And how great is the IPhone really if it doesn't even let you scroll up to review your text? Seems like the geniuses at Apple still have a lot of R&D work to get it right. I'll stick with my AquaSox issued Blackberry thank you very much.
