ComPETE

Now that's one helluva a title! I'm not sure if all of you saw Pete Carroll's press conference today, but one of his main themes was that his team was going to compete to the best of their abilities, and that they would not give up on games. Well, if that's true then it will be a welcome change.

For years it's seemed like the Seahawks have always been an easily defeatable team. What I mean by that is if you get the Hawks down, they'll stay down. Kind of like, "No, don't mind us, we can see that you guys have built a lead, we're not gonna try and come back, don't worry." I decded to put my theory to the test and do a little research (what?) and the results were basically what I expected. In the last two seasons the Hawks have trailed by more than one score in the 2nd half in 18 games, they have won 1; and I'll give you one good guess who it was against ..... yup, Rams. What's more, they've only come back to end the game within one score once. So, in all but 2 of those 18 games, the Hawks got behind and stayed there.

Will Pete Carroll actually make a difference in that type of statistic? Well, he's certainly got the right attitude, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see. Only one thing's for sure at this point ........

Mora sucked.
