TRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By now, I'm sure we've all heard about this monumental M's trade. Does this make much sense? It seems like we traded a bunch of mediocre prospects for a couple mediocre big-leaguers. At one point we were in limbo between buyers and seller, this kind of seems like shopping at Ross. I was actually a little excited to hear about Snell because for some reason I thought he was good .... well he's not. This year he's 2-8 w/ a 5.36 ERA. For his career he's 33-46 w/ a 4.75 ERA.

So I suppose the main player in this trade is "Indian" Jack Wilson, who can't be considered much more than a defensive guy, which falls right in line with Jacky Z's M.O..

That's it. I figured an un-interesting trade deserved an un-interesting post. I don't know much about the prospects besides Clement, so if you guys do, please add your thoughts.

Snell struggled earlier this year but is actually pretty good. He has been lights out in the minors since they sent him down to work out his problems. The only thing is that he has refused to go back up to the majors when they call him up because he prefers the minors. Doesn't sound too encouraging but I think it should work out well for you guys.

Given that Wilson is hitting over .260, her is great offensive addition for us.

In other baseball news, the ugliest man in the majors is on the mound today. I'll let you know if anything interesting happens in John Lackey's start.

Lackey just hit 2 straight batters. I think he was aiming for their faces so that he could make them as ugly as himself.

I'm not to concerned with Snell not wanting to leave the minors. Who in their right mind woudl want to play in that shit hole known as Pittsburgh anyway. HE was probably pitching somewhere awesome... like Siberia.

Apparently we also traded Balentien to the Reds for a right-handed reliever. Good ... we needed some more of those.

I read that Snell wanted to stay in the minors in Indinapolis because he couldn't stand Pittsburgh. I love this guy! True story...
